Background
Lee Harris has been a member of the Memphis faculty since 2005. He teaches Contracts, Corporations, and Mergers & Acquisitions.  He writes about the various ways investors influence the firm. His work has been selected for presentation at the Stanford/Yale Junior Faculty Forum and featured in prominent media outlets, like The Economist magazine. In addition to his appointment at Memphis, Harris has held visiting appointments at the George Washington School of Law in Washington DC and the Grenoble Ecole de Management in France. Prior to coming to Memphis, Professor Harris worked at Baker Donelson, a large corporate law firm. He has also held teaching fellowships in the Economics Department at Yale University and at Yale Law School. Professor Harris graduated from Yale Law School and Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. He has also been a visiting student at the London School of Economics.
